I am currently in the bittersweet process of closing down my small boutique in Cape Town after five wonderful years of service.

While I am excited about my next chapter, the administrative side of winding down a business is proving to be quite a massive headache for me.

I am particularly stuck on the tax obligations and how to officially notify the authorities that I will no longer be making any taxable supplies.

It is vital for me to do this correctly to avoid penalties. Does anyone have a clear explanation on <b data-path-to-node=”4″ data-index-in-node=”530″ style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;”>how to deregister from VAT SA? Thanks in advance.
