So my 2014 BMW 428i threw a code last week, P0420 which is catalyst system efficiency below threshold. The car runs fine, no loss of power, no strange smells, and fuel economy seems normal. I cleared the code to see if it would come back and it did after about 100 km of driving. A local garage told me straight away I need a new catalytic converter which is like 4000 dirhams just for the part, but I’ve read online that a bad oxygen sensor or even a small exhaust leak can cause the same code. I don’t want to throw that kind of money at a cat if it’s not actually the problem. I’ve been trying to find a competent emission system abu dhabi specialist who can properly diagnose by looking at live oxygen sensor data instead of just guessing. Has anyone here had a P0420 on a BMW that turned out to be a bad post cat oxygen sensor or an exhaust leak? And how can I tell the difference without replacing expensive parts randomly? Really hoping I don’t need a cat because the car isn’t worth that much honestly.

I’ve been having trouble with my BMW’s P0420 code, but it’s running fine otherwise. I’m trying to avoid a costly catalytic converter replacement, as I’ve heard a bad oxygen sensor or exhaust leak can cause the same issue. I’m looking for a specialist in Abu Dhabi who can diagnose it accurately using live oxygen sensor data visit site . Have any of you faced a similar problem? I’m particularly interested in the SVIP Club Game Download, as I’ve heard it can help diagnose such issues. I’m hoping to find a solution without replacing expensive parts randomly.
